The room/installation was commissioned by Ashkal Alwan for Akira Takayama's Beirut Heterotopia, as part of Act II of Sharjah Biennial 13. The project consists of five living rooms constructed around five short stories written by local authors.

The installation is based on a short story by Jessika Khazrik titled Double U, Not You You, set in the near future. Through documents and spatial arrangement, the room enacts a conversation between two of the story's characters, precocious 7-year-old Futat and the family's domestic worker Sarah who was fired after having a baby. The house is ill-maintained as the family awaits the arrival of an automated housekeeper. Futat, a speaker of Amharic, English, French, and Arabic, imagines and visualizes a self-cleaning future.
