Bassem Saad is an artist/writer born on 9/11 and trained in architecture. His work deals with future visualization and simulation, queer fear, identity-based space and knowledge production, and market exchanges and/or interfaces that include affect, bodily pleasure, and care.

In parallel to artistic practice, I continue to take on work that in the fields of research, visualization and rendering, architectural consulting, editing, copy-writing, and translation. Most recently, I have worked as communications coordinator at Beirut Art Center, architecture assistant to Omaya Malaeb, artist assistant to Akram Zaatari, delegation member at Lebanese Pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennial 2018, and rendering and visualization specialist to different architecture and design studios. I currently volunteer as English language instructor at Migrant Community Center.
